Where Rumi & Jinu Met: A K-Drama Walk Through Naksan Park in Seoul

안녕하세요, I’m Hangeulia ^-^💗

You already know I’ve been totally obsessed with K-Pop Demon Hunters lately

(나 요즘 케데헌에 완전 빠졌어>< 👉catch up right here), right?ㅎㅎ

So this week, I finally made a little visit to a real filming spot from the show

— Naksan Park (낙산공원) in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

But before we get into all the vibes...

shall we review a little from our last post?^^

💚낙산공원 완전 강추! (If you missed that post, you can check it out 👉 [right here]!)

Remember that quiet stone wall where Rumi and Jinu met for the second time?

The same place where the old lady gave Rumi a bracelet? ^-^

Yep. That scene was absolutely inspired from right here in Naksan Park

wrapped around the Seoul Fortress Wall in the heart of Jongno.

As someone who’s been totally into 케데헌 these days (I even made a playlist for it, ㅎㅎ ),

I couldn’t resist soaking in the real vibe.😻

💜How to Visit Like a Local (But Smartly!)

If you’re exploring around Jongno and want to save your energy (trust me, those slopes are no joke >_<), I recommend taking a taxi straight to🚕:

Naksan Park Public Parking Lot

: 50-131 Dongsung-dong, Jongno District, Seoul (Just pop it into Google Maps!)

Main entrance of Naksan Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul, leading to the fortress trail.

an easy way to save energy before your K-drama walk ^^

From there, you’ll see stairs heading up — follow them and take a left at the fork.

Soon, you’ll come across the Second Observatory

and then boom — the fortress wall appears, just like in the drama.💗

But...hey... don’t try climbing the wall like Rumi did! >< ㅎㅎㅎ

💜Sunset is the Magic Hour

Golden hour view from Naksan Park overlooking the rooftops of Seoul.

Perfect time for a K-Drama moment🤩

Here’s my tip💛: Go after dinner, just before sunset.

That way, you’ll catch the golden hour glow AND stay to watch the night view over Seoul.

As you follow the fortress trail, snap some photos📷 and take in the panoramic views.

Try spotting both towers! Namsan Tower is easy to find — but Lotte Tower

It’s hiding waaay over there on the opposite side from Namsan Tower.

You might need to squint! ^^

At the top, take a breather and listen to a few tracks from Huntrix or the Saja boys.🎵

You’ll really feel that 케데헌 energy kick in.😊

Or... take the path downward from the top,

and you’ll wander into Ihwa Mural Village (이화 벽화 마을) — packed with charming alleys, murals, and hidden cafés.

When you circle back up, the fortress wall lights will be glowing🌟.

When the sunset fades, the wall transforms golden
— just like a Huntrix beat hitting right on time  ^^

Tea, city lights, and K-Drama dreams from a rooftop café at the top🌆

Even better, grab a cozy seat at a rooftop café near the summit, sip some tea🍵 or enjoy a cold beer🍺, and soak in the night skyline.

💜Travel Season Tips

July is hot and humid in Korea (seriously… a portable fan is a must! ><).

But at night, you’ll still catch a nice breeze up top.🍃

The best time to visit is April–June or September–October

but honestly, I’d brave the heat again for this vibe.😉

Naksan Park is open 24/7 and totally free!😲

💛Highlights of the Visit

Drama Spot: The iconic K-drama wall from K-Pop Demon Hunters

Best time: Sunset to night

Route: Taxi to parking lot → walk up past 2nd observatory → fortress wall walk

Detour: Ihwa Mural Village for photos and cute alleys

Final touch: Night tea or beer at a rooftop café

What to Bring: Comfortable shoes, a bottle of water, and a portable fan if visiting in summer (trust me, it helps! ^^)

💚Talk Like You Live Here!

Want to sound like a real Korean?

Try this line:

 👄여기 야경 진짜 장난 아니다~~

Yeogi yagyeong jinjja jangnan anida ~~

→ “The night view here? Absolutely unreal!”

Let the hunt begin!

With love,

Hangeulia 😊
